Unzip the extension in your Owncloud plugins directory and enter in OwnCloud as root to enable the app. This procedure has been tested a lot of times, and it works.

 Bad download link?

Hi, maybe there is a problem with the download link, the current one is the one for the OffiGimp Editor and not for the LibreOffice Editor. Can you confirm? Thank you in advance.

 App not working: Library missing?

by freibadschwimmer on: Feb 21 2017

Sounds like an interesting app, though I didn't manage yet to get it working.
After unzipping & enabling the app, I get the following error messages:

include(): Failed opening 'offilibre/admin.php' for inclusion (include_path='path/to/owncloud/3rdparty/pear/console_getopt:path/to/owncloud/3rdparty/pear/pear_exception:path/to/owncloud/3rdparty/pear/pear-core-minimal/src:path/to/owncloud/3rdparty/pear/archive_tar:path/to/owncloud/3rdparty/phpseclib/phpseclib/phpseclib:path/to/owncloud/lib/private:path/to/owncloud/config:path/to/owncloud/3rdparty:path/to/owncloud/apps:.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear:path/to/owncloud') at path/to/owncloud/lib/private/legacy/app.php#743

and

include(offilibre/admin.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory at path/to/owncloud/lib/private/legacy/app.php#743

Am I missing some part of the installation? Does this require some more libraries than a basic OC installation and the above zip file?

Running ownCloud 9.1.4 (stable) on Debian Jessie (with Apache2).

Please enter in app.php and remove registerAdmin
I will remove later that source code part.

Thanks for your reply.

Not sure if I understand correctly. I uncommented in app.php the part:

public static function registerAdmin($app, $page) {self::$adminForms[] = $app . '/' . $page . .php';}

If I do so, I get the error message:

{"reqId":"pxUCHKFCXGzlWVt0lRj+","remoteAddr":"X.X.X.X","app":"PHP","message":"Call to undefined method OC_App::registerAdmin() at \path/to/owncloud\/lib\/public\/App.php#108","level":3,"time":"2017-02-21T15:43:37+00:00","method":"PROPFIND","url":"\/remote.php\/webdav\/","user":"admin-name"}

while the browser stays blank.

Just saw that there is a new version online already. I installed this new version, and I can create documents now.

Seems to work for now; I will continue testing.

Thanks a lot for offering the app & the service!

 Sutck on open files

Hi,
I'm using owncloud-9.1.4-2.1 (9.1.4 stable) on CentOS Linux release 7.3.1611
I've downloaded the last version of your apps, unzipped, placed in owncloud/apps and enabled from application management.

Whan I try to open a file it loop on opening and nothing happens.
I've tried both with docx and xlsx.
Both file are pretty simple, some text line in the first and some numeric cells in the second ... nothing special.
Any ideas ?

In debug I've found the following
Debug no app in context DocumentController prepareDocuments
Debug offilibre User is in groups: admin
Debug no app in context DocumentController index

Try with our demo here: http://191.101.237.140:5050/owncloud/index.php/login

Login/password: demo1/demo1

Feel free to upload your docs, play with them, and let us know if you can edit them. If not, please indicate your docs and we debug them.

the same on your demo system.
I've jus created two files (1.docx and 2.xlsx) very very simple.
Uploaded in a folder called "rriva".
If I try to online open the file it stuck on opening and nothing happens.

Hi,

I have entered in the demo1 account. Click in Office. See your 2 documents, and when I click over your file, OffiDocs displays perfectly your document. Remeber that you have to perform 3 actions:

1. Click in Office app, and wait for your documnts to be discovered. ( 2-5 secs)

2. Click over your documents.

3. Wait for OffiDocs (3 secs ) to display your documents.

I have uploaded into the demo1 account (rriva folder) a document named Instructions.odt with these 3 actions you need to perform.

OK,
but is there a way to open the file directly from the FIle Manager and not from Office Application ?

Is there a way to embed external connections to https://www.offidocs.com in OwnCloud.

And finally, I can open the document, but If I change it and clisk on the SAVE ICON or select File -> Save then click on done, the file doesn't change in Owncloud ..

Are there something I miss ?
Thank you in advance
Riccardo

If Owncloud accepts OffiDocs as an official application we will develop the three integration functionalities that you have requested. They should be great and very useful. It depends on Owncloud.

In the meantime we have performed a basic integration that we expect to enhance if end users and Owncloud like it.
