Are there any errors in the admin panel? Also, would you please host the APK somewhere so that I can have a look at it.

Thank You,

what are system requirements to parse the apk files?

Currently, PHP 5.3.0 or later is required. Furthermore, 'extension=iconv.so' needs to be enabled in the 'php.ini'.

As for hardware, I think anything works with reasonable amount of RAM and CPU processing power.

In the admin panel there is a "Log" field. Could you either copy/paste it all or just the relevant bits?

 fdroidserver integration

Thanks for the great app.

It would be amazing to have an app that created fdroid compatible repository.
Especially for ROM flashers who don't want to have gapps installed.
https://f-droid.org/wiki/page/Installing_the_Server/Repo_Tools

Please consider this functionality for future development.

Hello and thank you for the review,

That's actually an interesting suggestion, hosting an F-Droid server would be a better approach to handling large amounts of APK files, not to mention seamless integration with the Android client.

However, I feel it might be out of scope for this app in particular as I'm not exactly sure how an F-Droid server implementation would handle these files, and whether it would be isolated from the Files app.
If it were, it would probably need its own interface (lots of space to display APK info on the screen!) thus defeating the need for this here.

So, it would be a new project; right now I'm not sure I have the energy or the time to undertake it.

Time will see!

Thanks for the answer,

What do you think about idea about sharing directory in-between owncloud and droidserver.

owncoud would provide web interface to upload/download new apk's and fdroid would provide interface on a smartphone which is essentially one way download.

I must say, that's something I haven't thought of.

Together with the upload/delete hooks it would be even more awesome (if F-Droid servers don't depend on a single directory).

Hello and thank you for the review,

Translation is definitely one of the things seriously lacking right now and I definitely plan to address the most approachable languages some time later on; if you wish to contribute, you may do so through GitHub.
I'm in the process of collecting translations for the permissions from the Android source which will be up on GitHub in a few days or so.

As for the protection level icons, I have noticed that some configurations cannot display these. I'm also redesigning some part of the box interface where I will probably decide on how to present this information in a good way. If they stay, I'll make sure they're displayed properly.

Cheers!
