First you need to install Onlyoffice Document Server
I've intalled on a different server using github (https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/Docker-DocumentServer).

After copy downloded application to the apps folder on your owncloud server or use github. Need minimum PHP55 to activate application.

Go to the Administration - Onlyoffice and put IP address of the Document Server.

I running owncloud on http so and Document server on http

I'm glad you were managed to install it and hope you'll enjoy using ONLYOFFICE. Unfortunately neither I nor my teammates won't be able to tell the reason why you had those problems unless you give us more information. At least what error message did you receive
