Description:

Leveraging the new 2FA framework in ownCloud 9.1, the Duo Two-Factor Authentication plugin allows the use of Duo Security's 2FA.

The necessary changes to the 2FA framework have been merged into the main project and will be/are available as of ownCloud 10.0: https://github.com/owncloud/core/pull/25882

Note: if you're downloading the app from this page, to install: unzip the archive under your apps/ directory and rename the folder to duo (so that the resulting folder is apps/duo).

Changelog:

3/6/2017 - Settings migrated from duo.ini file to settings page. If upgrading, be sure to delete your custom duo.ini file so as to not trip the file integrity check. See README for more info
13/11/2016 - App is now officially signed
27/8/2016 - duo.conf has been replaced with duo.ini in order to support the newest features (LDAP bypass and specific client IP bypass). Make sure to create and customize your own duo.ini file (see duo.ini.example)
23/8/2016 - Back on the Appstore after changes to ownCloud core have been merged. The app now uses a newly introduced 2FA provider interface (IProivder2), which allows for custom CSP settings.
21/8/2016 - Made some minor changes to provide initial support for LDAP users. This currently requires some configuration on the LDAP side, see README on GitHub for more info.

Thank you so much for implementing this. We use Duo so I was hoping someone would tackle this. Can't wait to try it out.

 IP Bypass list

It works great (on Ubuntu 16.04 with Owncloud 10.0.2).
I have my owncloud behind a local proxy and it seems that the IB bypass list only looks at the proxy address while it should look at the remote address (as being logged also). I have the settings for proxying implemented.
'trusted_proxies' => array('127.0.0.1'),
'forwarded_for_headers' => array('HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR')

Could you make the IB bypass list actually look at the remoteaddr?

Sure, that sounds like a good feature request. I went ahead and opened an issue on GitHub for the request. You can track it here: https://github.com/elie195/duo_provider/issues/9
