| Question: | There has to be a better way than download, upload to my server, extract, go to ownCloud and "enable".
How come ownCloud lists apps and offers the option to "enable" when they aren't there? If it knows about the app, can't it go get it from apps.owncloud for me?
Please make app browsing/install available withing ownCloud itself.

| | Answer: | I think the devs already changed this. This point is in the Owncloud 4 feature list:
- Improved installation of 3rd Party Apps
