If you have problems to find your city...

If you have problems to enter the city of your choice, chances are, you have not guessed the EXACT name. To make life easier, go to http://openweathermap.org
There use the search bar on the top of the page (Weather in your city) and look for e.g. Washington
You will get a list of names matching your search string and click on the city of your choice.
On the new page copy the name in the top left corner right above the temperature and enter this very string as city name in the weather owncloud app.

Attention: if your city name contains spaces such as in "New York" searching gets a bit awkward.
In order to find this city you need to enter "new, york" as search string at openweathermap.org

Hope this help a bit :-)
