Thanks for creating a new app!
Could you add some more details about what this app actually does? "Derefer external Links." is a bit vague...

Massive bug ! Unable to uninstall !

Hello,

I tried it to know what it could do :

- I first have a BIG problem: my owncloud (client) do work anymore on Chrome, any action on the page lock the page and take all the CPU (even highlighting texts !) -> Have to kill the process

- Then i firgured out that the client was still working on IE or firefox. The first thing i saw was that with any action of my own on the app, a page "derefer.me" open on a other tab on my browser.
I though that it could be normal because i'm behind a proxy (but it's still really anoying !).
So i went to uninstall it, it seems to work (app is uninstalled) BUT it don't ! I still have exacts same bugs: no chrome, "derefer" tabs ...

I dont know what to do now ...

It seems that "document.location.hostname" is wrong. You could try to modify the value in the derefer.js-script or you could delete the whole derefer-plugin-folder and hit CTRL+F5.

best regards

 Allow changing derefer-URL

It would be cool if I could set my own derefer-service, as I really don't like the idea of being dependent on an external service. Also derefering using an external service is somehow paradox, because your ref will be sent to the service - how would I know they don't log everything and go through those logs? ;)

Just created the "Darefer" app to allow anonymous redirection without external redirect services. See http://apps.owncloud.com/content/show.php/Darefer?content=161849

By the way, the web has changed since 2008. Some browsers have implemented HTML5’s rel="noreferrer", an easy and awesome alternative to dereferring services, although it might be to early to completely rely on it.

Thanks
